I created this video for my friends Stephan Delbos & Tereza Novická. They translated the book The Absolute Gravedigger by Czech surrealist poet Vítezslav Nezval (published by Twisted Spoon Press) from Czech to English. This is a short selection from that book.

For years, I only heard about Ken Nash. I knew he plays a major role in the Prague expat community, performed at last year’s Microfestival and generally is a big name. I was a little star-struck to finally see, meet and hear him perform one night at Alchemy where he was the guest reader. Months later an interview was arranged and we discussed the Prague English-speaking community, song-writing, illustrating and more in the garden of the Týnská literary café on a rainy Tuesday. rainy spring Tuesday.
